I think, obviously, the more epoxy, that is gluing together two types of wood stringers in a ski, make for a more dense pair of skis, rather than one type of wood carved from a single 2x4. The k2 Pettitor's dense sort of dead feeling is something I adored. Maybe they were carved from a single 2x4.
Yeah, I think the blackop 118 gamers, not sure about the 2018 year blackops, are a full poplar core. The black ops to me felt like it was carved from a single 2x4 so it wasn’t damp but also wasn’t poppy. The trade off there is dampness instead of pop. AnimatorThing is is that I am fine with a damp ski, like an enforcer.
